Great story! I don't usually go for stories that are in non-stargate universes, but these Captain Jack stories are great. Sort of takes me back to Gardner McKay and "Adventures in Paradise." So glad you are back. Thanks.
Author's Response:Holy coincidence, Batman! I was just telling someone about Gardner McKay and "Adventures In Paradise" the other day. They had never heard of it, probably because they are much younger than me. I loved that show! Watching it made me want to run away from home and go to the South Pacific, particularly Tahiti. I still haven't been there. Have you?
I'm really glad you enjoyed the first two Captain Jack stories. They were my concoction, but the third one is a plot dreamed up by Pauline Fitzsimmons, my Beta and fellow RDA worshipper.
It is good to be home from the hospital, but I still have no firm diagnosis and therefore no prognosis. It is very frustrating when doctors just shake their heads in confusion. But I'm tough, and I plan to overcome whatever is wrong with me.

Author's Response: Thanx, I'm glad you liked it. Pauline has given me a good plot for the 3rd story in the Captain Jack series, but I've been sick and haven't been able to work on filling in the details. I think it's the pain meds that are making me feel sleepy all the time. Anyway, I can tell you this; the story involves a Nazi General and a missing airplane. I hope to begin working on the story this week.
I will say it again...OH NO! Is Sam really going to leave Captain Jack again? Please say it ain't so :(
Oh No! What did you just do to poor Jack? I should have been more prepared that angst was headed their way, but was so enjoying their time together.
So happy to see you back in action, as you were really missed. I think I will need something cold to drink after this one, and am really looking forward to more :)

I am eager to get back to writing the next story, but lately the medications I am taking are preventing me from concentrating. I am also having trouble writing responses to the reviews. You may have noticed a few nice comments about the stories you and I have worked on together. I think you should write something on your own. Author's Response:Thank you! I am so glad you are enjoying my Captain Jack series, even if Jack and Sam have not committed to one another. I think the doubts they both have about being right for each other, the sexual tension, the angst, and the problems those doubts create, and the fiery hot sex they have when they DO get together, are all things that make up a good story. At least I think so, and I hope you agree.
I can totally see Jack as a loner, an older man who has a past from which he needs to escape in order to retain his sanity. Sam is young enough to still have doubts about what she is doing with her life and to change things. I think giving up her careers as a teacher and writer, in order to search for treasure in far away places, is fantasy a lot of people would love to pursue, but they don't have the money. The pearls and other gemstones they found on the Lady Adelaide have given them the money they need to do whatever they want for a few years. After that, who knows what will happen. Maybe they will decide to marry and have a family. Maybe they will go their separate ways. I haven't decided yet, but I assure you the final story in the series will include Sam's and Jack's plans for the future.
Again, thank you for the compliments and for following me from the other site. I hope everyone who frequented Siler's site has been told where to find me and the other authors. In order to make sure they know where to read our stories, please tell all the fans/readers you know. As for what happened to Siler and the site, I asked Telkena to contact him. In her last email to me regarding this matter, she said she was unable to reach him, and she is very worried about him. I hope he is okay.

As for my illness, I have only a partial diagnosis. I have no doubt that lifting heavy boxes, when I moved recently, brought on my lower back ache. My back no longer hurts. Now it's my legs which are killing me. I believe the muscle pain and weakness in my legs has something to do with the drug I took to lower my cholesterol. However, finding a doctor who agrees with me and is willing to state his opinion on paper, is another matter. So, although thousands of people have fought and won restitution for the damage the drug did to them, I am unable to do the same.
I am able to get around the house in a wheel chair or by using a walker. The pain killer, etc. make me sleepy. I am nodding off while writing this, so that's all for now folks! Love you all to pieces! z
Well no one can say you aren't original Z. I am thoroughly enjoying this story. I have been off the SJ stuff for a while, but this story is bringing me back into the fold haha. I love this manifestation of Jack and Sam. Im not sure if I will post over here, but...Im still around :) get better yeah? Your fans might start to go crazy if they don't get regular updates *smirk*

So glad I had Heliopolis still linked sing the other site has crashed. Been waiting for the next story and glad I found it! Hope Ziva feels better and gets out of the hospital soon. I would be great if she could post all of her stories here since we're not sure the other site is coming back or not. I have a few on my hard drive but would love to have all of them.
