AUTHOR'S NOTES: This is only my second fanfic so all feedback excepted.

Suddenly a song started on the radio. Jack had been thinking. Ever since that Zatark testing incidence he had been doing a lot of thinking about his relationship with Sam. Could there ever be anything there? If there could, would there ever be anything there?

They knew how they felt about each other but did he have the guts to ask her about it. Just then the chorus started,

'I'll be there for you,

These five words I swear to you,

When you breathe I want to be the air for you.

I'll be there for you,

I'd live and I'd die for you,

Steal the sun from the sky for you,

Words can't say what love can do.

I'll be there for you.'

The song was exactly right he would always be there for her. He did want to be the air that she breathed, and he would always die for her. That went un-questioned as was proven by the Whole not leaving her behind on the ship and the truest thing of all, words really couldn't describe the way he felt about her. This was the one thing he hoped that Sam would always be there for him.

Fini

The song was Bon Jovi with 'I'll be there for you'
