AUTHOR'S NOTES: I actually wrote this (and a couple of others) a while ago. Although I've read heaps (and I do mean HEAPS) of fanfics, I never thought about writing any (at least writing any that I'd submit!). This is the first one submitted, although I am working on a much bigger, better story that will be out soon ...

To lay aside all dread and fear.

Why you and I can't be an 'us'.

When it can happen and it won't be made a fuss.

That these rules and regulations will someday change.

So things between us won't be so strange.

I can't handle seeing you everyday.

So these unsaid feelings, we'll never have to say.

So this pain doesn't have to be.
