Hi,

Loved the story. I haven't watched Wrath of Khan for so long, but i'm assuming it is the one with Spock dying and the 'needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few line.' Thinking about it, i can see how you made the connection with Kelowna, that was a really good catch by you. Not sure if i'd be able to watch that film without thinking of Daniel from now on.

Author's Response:

You're right.  It is the one where Spock dies, albeit much more quickly than Daniel does.  I'd love to say I planned it out like that when I started writing, but my thoughts were more along the lines of "Okay, so how else does Chekov get into trouble?  Oh, yeah.  The eel things.  Nasty.  Bet Daniel'd equate them with a Goa'uld, which would remind him of Sha're.  Hey, wait a minute.  Didn't Spock do the whole radiation thing at the end of that movie?  Weird.  I should include that somehow..."

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it.  Thanks very much for the review.  Now, stop reading my stuff and go finish Aftermath.  :)
