Author's Response: Nope. Though their names may have a superficial similarity, they are entirely different elements. Like trinium, you won't find tritanium on the table of elements you and I learned in our high school chemistry classes, because, like most things the SG teams have discovered offworld, it is classified and top secret. It is worth more than our lives for me to obtain a copy of the appended periodic table that includes the elements found only offworld so you will simply have to take my word for it, but tritanium is just as real as trinium!
