I love your stories. You add a tremendous touch a realism where it's needed...in the minor details.
I don't 'Bleed Blue', but my family has 3 generations in the Air Force, so all of you in Blue have my eternal support! Especially the worker bees! Three generations, and not a single officer in the bunch...
Author's Response: I beg to differ. You bleed as blue as those of us who swear to serve. In fact, your job is harder because you didn't make the choice to join the service, you just suffer beside us. My husband and I are both USAF career enlisted. I have found that it is FAR, FAR easier to be the one deployed to a hostile area, living in a tent, working 12 to 15 hour days, 7 days a week, than the one that has to stay home and pretend everything is normal. You, the family member, have my eternal gratitude for all your sacrifices.

Hi, I'm in the Ar Force and I just wanted to thank you for taking the Creed and making it into what it's supposed to be: a badge of courage and strength for those of us who serve in the Blue...
You might also want to look into the Articles... If you'd like I can look them up. They're not specific to the AF, but they do give guidelines/rules on how to handle captivity and torture.
Author's Response: I already did the Articles in Second To None, which I consider to be my revenge on my TI. In fact the whole story Second To None is a Jack in Basic story (clone Jack anyway). Thanks for the review. It's nice to hear from others who bleed blue...
