I liked seeing this happy story for Daniel. A few holes in the plot and a little out of character in bringing Daniel's new family to Jack's, but the emotions Daniel felt in losing Sha're and gaining his mother were right on the mark. Very interesting read. I especially liked seeing Sara, don't hear about her very often.

This was a nice AU look at what could have been Daniel's family. I liked the different personalities each of his sisters had, and you portrayed both his and his mother's difficulties coming to terms with the situation very well.
I have a hard time believing that Daniel and Maria would so easily leave Sarah and Maria's father behind, especially with Jacob along and the Tok'ra already involved.
Your portrayal of the canon characters was very good, especially Daniel's pain over losing Sha're, and Jack's attempts to help and comfort him. Their bantering was well done.
I had a few nitpicky things like the DNA test being called a paternity test when it clearly wasn't, and a few phrasings that sounded too British for SG-1, but all in all it was an enjoyable story. Well done.
