Okay, what do I want to know when I read about an author?  Hmmmm, I'm a resident of the U.S., live in the North East, near the nation's capitol, am married with children (old enough they should be leaving home soon - yay!), have four dogs, a cat and a very old house in need of much remodeling.  I ran across Stargate in the middle of Season 7, accidentally stumbled onto fan fiction while searching for Stargate merchandise on-line, bought every season then available for purchase, watched every episode, read through much of the fandom, then started writing.  Just recently I was initiated into the joys of vidding, which means I'm gettting very little else accomplished right now!  What fun to find an entirely new archive with authors names I don't recognize!  I have a whole new field of reading!
