Only one thing really stands out here...
Always thought the DEFCON scale was 5 to 1, with 5 being peace and 1 being war...or do I have that backwards? Cause Daniel stating that they've reached DefCon 5 on the scale makes no sense the way i've interpreted it?
Author's Response: I couldn't remember and I was in too big a hurry to check. I know that they showed the DEFCON sign in the Kinsey episode in season 8 but...I know...poor research...bad author. No more cookies for you.

Author's Response: Thanks. I try to use humor as a deflection technique. Sometimes it works. Sometime I make myself laugh.
Ok, well, i thoroughly enjoyed what i've read. Even the parts about FLYERS being totally nuts. But i think you're being a bit biased...I mean, you being Air Force and all ;)
Author's Response: Thanks. Of course, I have been around alot more USAF flyers so it could be bias...or simply a preponderance of evidence. We'll see.
Wow! Two more chapters! The room temperature went up at least 10 degrees when Sam and Jack got together in the supply room. But I can't believe that the two of them just straightened up their clothes and went back to work. Sheesh!

Author's Response: They can be but so far these are not. Not pregnant and hormones are 'within acceptable parameters.' But, of course, everything is far from normal...
I found your story and read all of it in just a couple of hours. Great plot and you've got the characters right. Now when are you going to stop tormenting them? I feel sorry for Jack and I know Sam's just as frustrated. So am I, so don't leave us hanging too long!
Author's Response: I can't stop tormenting them yet. But they will get a bit of relief in chapter 17. Which has to go through one more edit before posting. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for the review.
