I enjoyed it! Though the technobabble at the beginning from Sam kinda threw me off - quantum mechanics is based off of the fact that, basically (really, really basically), energy is quantized.  Atoms and subatomic molecules were known about far before quantum mechanics came into play - it's just that really small things don't follow the laws of classical/newtonian/macroscopic mechanics.

Sorry - I'm currently taking a class that uses quantum mechanics to explain chemical bonding - it's kinda on the forefront of my mind atm.
