I think any true SG-1 fan has hoped that Jack and Samantha would end up together (even after RDA left and now when she is in another galaxay.) To have a story written with such care for the plot and characters is a joy for true fans! I know a lot of people (including me) are hoping for some kind of closure (the good kind) between Sam and Jack in Continuum since RDA is in it, but we know it probably won't happen. I wish they would make another movie about this story! It certainly could make Jack wake up!!! Hopefully! GREAT story, really well written and showing true love of the Stargate universe and characters. THANKS!!!

I'm sorry if I seem overly emotional about this, but I can't believe what a miserable, selfish SOB Jack was - separated for two years without telling her, waiting until John came along and slapped some sense into him. As usual just dumping the choice of a decision in Sam's lap and just waiting for some sign from her. I'm surprise she didn't slap him silly and tell him what a miserable SOB he was before she forgave him. As much as I want them together, he so does not deserve the wonderful, sweet woman she is, after the pain he put her through. And, of course, the first thing they do is fall into bed together - typical.

What a horrible choice for Sam to make. Go with John and have him for whatever time remains of his life (if Janet is correct) or stay with Jack and be lonely for the rest of her life while keeping "their" secret. So unfair to Sam. And even though Sam did it willingly, now both Jack and John have used her for their own needs and she gets nothing but pain for it. Hard as it would be for her, I think she should leave Jack and move on with her own life.

But then again.... we wouldn't have a happy ending and S&J smut in all shapes form and.... positions? heh...And that is all that my fics are about really..... But yeah, it was a pretty fucked up choice to make for her.... Added to ze angst.... *nods* I'm rather touched you've thought all these elements through like you did... I don't really know what to say about this story. It's heartbreaking for one thing. And so totally unfair to Sam. To put her life on hold or to not have a personal life because of Jack. And so selfish of him to keep his marriage and get Sam in his life at the same time, knowing she willingly does it for him, and knowing at this point that he won't leave Sara for her. I guess they say love is blind if Sam is willing to give up everything for Jack in this reality.
Author's Response: Love is blind and as my sister put it, women are stupid when truly in love.... Well some women, it's reallyunfair to generalize like that..... but I guess Sam totaly fell into that category. But then again when you do love someone, no matter how much better you can have it if you walk away NOTHINg will make you as happy as the man you're in love with. It just won't matter. It's a limbic system issue, really..... if ya really wanna take the romance outof it.... ;p So here here for true love and the misery it puts us through.
Wow! What a great story. Definately one of your best. I've enjoyed many of your stories over the years and I really enjoyed this one. I felt like I was really there experiencing your words. You are truly a great writer. (The sex was so hot I had to jump my husband.) This should win an award! Keep up the excellent work.
