Now that was an interesting series of stories. I did not like Sam's behavious and was not happy that she was so easily turned to be with someone else while engaged to Jack but then it is just me I personally do not like people who cheat but as the story progressed I could overlook that and was so happy to find out that she was actually Jack daughter. Jacob was just ugly in this story. lol But he also was redeemed in the end and Jack needed a good head shake himself but you pulled it all together and it was good reading. Loved it as usual and look forward to more stories.

Author's Response: Yes, I did make Jacob a bad person in this one.  I had fun writing him that way.  As for Sam, I prefer to show my characters as real people, and people do bad things and make mistakes. I refuse to turn Sam, or Jack for that matter, into perfect beings who never do anything selfish or hurtful.  I know some readers don't like to read bad things about their favorite heroes, but I think stories where their behavior is always beyond reproach are boring stories.  That's just the way I am, and I am always glad when readers like you are willing to try something different.  Thanx for reviewing and for the five star rating.  xo
