Heliopolis: News

I have quite a few things that I need to replace after the fire, and some of my tupperware canisters and such were really old (20+ years) and needed replacing anyway. I thought that maybe I'd try to earn a little money at the same time.

In that spirit, I am hosting a virtual/on-line Tupperware Party. I get a small (10%) commision on all sales over $200. If you are at all interested in buying some great, fun, sturdy products, then e-mail me (webmistress at sg1-heliopolis dot com) so that I can send you an invite.

I remember so much of these things from when I was a kid - the snap-together hamburger patty makers, ice-pop molds, those brightly colored juice cups (my sister could stick a whole one in her mouth!!!). They are really good products and it would be helping me a bit, if you are at all inclined.

The log-in issue has been resolved, the queues for validation have been emptied and submissions are open. I have removed the validation requirements, in lieu of the report system that exists on the site. I will investigate any reports of mis-categorized or inappropriate stories promptly, but all others will show up in the new/updated pages as they are posted with no waiting.


WANTED: I need some more memory for my computer. If anyone has any extra DD@ 4200 memory for a laptop, in 1G (or 512M) size that they could spare, please, contact me. I generally have my e-mail, 1 or two browsers, an ftp program, and a text editor (minimum) open when I am working on the coding for the site, and this laptop has Vista and only 512M memory. It's a strain.
