I didn't do the typical fundraising/donation drive this year, but I could still use your help to pay the hosting fees for Helio, if you would like to contribute. I still need about $257 to pay the fees for this year. You can donate through Paypal, buy things from Amazon.com using our links (pre-order Stargate: Continuum and SGA Season 4 Now!).

Also, as something fun, I am going to put up a raffle later this week. For a $5 minimum donation, you can buy $1/ticket/chances at fun items including copies of Stargate:Continuum or Stargate: The Ark of Truth, Season 1 & 2 of Macgyver, Angel fan items, and more. Best yet, if you win the items, I will pay for shipping anywhere in the world.

I am working on fixing up the archive, because it's that time of the year again and finals are almost over!!!!

I have new skins to put up. I found my old files for the original archive to replace some of the lost stories!!! I am also going through and updating the stories that have "0" word counts.

I am also deleting some stories that do not meet our terms of service. We do not allow works in progress, and it has been brought to my attention that some authors are posting "drafts" or a few sentences here or there to increase their view counts. This isn't acceptable. Any stories that can't stand alone (TBC, etc) that are reported will be deleted. This doesn't apply to series or even multi-chapter/story compilations where each chapter/story comes to a conclusion and can stand alone.

We also do not allow drabbles or stories below 400-500 words, unless multiple stories are posted in one chapter. 14 stories were removed from Helio: Atlantis and 7 from Helio2 today for violating this policy. 45 stories from the main archive are in danger of being deleted as soon as I finish the other updates.

I will be posted a new Rules and FAQ page for everyone to review, but if these policies can't be met, we'll go back to requiring new stories to be validated.
