Donations .

Thank you for your support of this archive. The annual donation drive runs from 01 May to 31 May. Heliopolis' s domain renewal is the first of June, and the server/hosting fee is toward the end of June, but we accept donations any time of year to put toward the annual fees, equipment upgrades, and toward prizes for fic or other contests.

We've accomplished a lot in the last year, though it still looks a bit of a mess at the moment. The new format will allow authors to post to all three of our archives, with one log-in, and to have complete control over their own stories for deletions or corrections. It also allows for easier uploading and reading of chaptered stories or series, with clear tables displaying all of the parts in order.

Any amount would be appreciated. If you can't afford to donate, I understand. I still appreciate all of the support that I have received from the community for the last four years. That is what keeps me working at this, and enjoying it.

I also want to take this time to say a special thank you to a very special person who has gone above and beyond the call to help me keep this archive up and running, when I thought all was lost. You don't know how much your support has meant to me. Thank you. Also, thank you to everyone who has offered support in kind words, a few hours help with the changeover, everything. You guys are why this site is worth running, even when it makes my eyes cross and my head ache. :)

Temporary Interruption of Services

I haven't been around much lately, but this is the last week of classes and finals before graduation, and I have been finishing up those and my clinical rotations, and have barely had time to sleep, let alone answer e-mails.

I am also in the process of moving (next week) and starting a new job (tomorrow). So, I am doing my best to keep up, and have been trying to answer any urgent inquiries, but I don't currently have internet at home, only at the college (see: moving).

However, there is a problem with my paypal account as a result of a chargeback a few months ago, and I won't be able to make the hosting payment for the server this week (Friday). However, I get my first paycheck at my new job next week, and will get it all sorted then, even if I have to change providers. Everything will be backed up, so I expect minimal loss.

This is just a heads up, so you guys won't be too worried if we go dark for a week or so.

Helio: Stargate Gen Zines for Sale

Sorry for the delay in processing everything. I am putting more items up on eBay as we speak, as well as posting a few things on my dreamwidth journal for direct sale. Raffle Ending Soon

I have one more large set of ebay stuff to go up, but it will have to wait until Monday or Tuesday, because I am out of town this weekend for my and my niece's birthday. I just wanted to remind everyone that the raffle is ending on Sunday night/Monday morning, and I've only had about a half dozen participants so far. There are some really great collectibles available this year, and I would love to see more people participate, especially as I am offering worldwide shipping this year. If you had any interest in donating this year, it would be a good time, as well as a chance to win some really awesome prizes.
