That was a great story! I enjoyed reading it and thought you did an awesome job in the tense factor. It really is a scary thought that a new bug could do something like that. And as I work in a very public area I get to see just how close people get to each other without knowing.

Hi Lauren.
It certainly is scary.  One person with a virus like this in an airport, and there could be a full pandemic.  Reassuring, no?
Thanks very much for the review and the compliment.  I'm glad you liked it.

Seriously good stuff, and a scary look at what a worldwide pandemic might look like <gulp> I liked the immediacy of the present tense and the Daniel POV, and his solution to Thor's dilemma of offering himself up to save the world is just so typical, right? Really enjoyed this one.

Author's Response: It is a pretty scary concept to think about, isn't it?  I'm glad you enjoyed the story and that the tense worked for you.  Thanks for the review.

Wow thats heavy. Daniel being part responisble for bring an alien virus back, infecting almost everyone and killing over a thousand. Its a great story and I can't wait when you post the next chapter. I would like to see how this is gonna pan out.

One question though why are you writing past tense in plural like guesses instead of guessed? Just curious. Different but it doesn't inturrupt the flow of the story.

Author's Response: Glad you're enjoying the story so far. I'm using the present tense in an attempt to create a feeling of immediacy that I'm hoping sucks the reader into the story. Thanks very much for the review.
