wtf why is jack in prison? I don't understand

I loved the story, great sex scene, there's just one thing that i didn't understand but it didn't stop me enjoying the story it was great but, why was Jack in prison?
Author's Response:After I posted the story I found out that I had forgot to mention that Jack was in prison cause he was being accused of murdering Kinsey . Never edited it though. Glad you still liked it
