Pete Shanahan---He is a creep. Thank goodness Sarah rescued her. The few times she has been in a story, I have always liked her character. Its sad that Sarah and Jack couldn't be there for each other. But, as Sarah said he loved Charlie more. I have seen where married couples have divorced after the death of a child. It happened in my family to my aunt. They eventually remarrried only he died several years later. Sad.
So glad Sarah was willing to give Sam some incite into Jack.

Just started another one of your stories. Really enjoying this, though poor Sam isn't. She has really been hurt badly. To be honest, I don't feel women should be allowed in a front line situation. All for equality in the military, but feel women are much more at a disadvantge especially if captured.
Looking forward to next chapter. Will most probably read through before I review at end.
I know you write S/J but have you ever given thought to a Jack/Hailey fic????

As to the Jack/Hailey fic I haven't considered it, though I did hint in one of my fics at a mini-Jack/ Cassie match, but it didn't materialise as she found another O'Neill! That story is on the Heliopolis teen site rather than the mature side though. :-)
just finished this story and truly enjoyed it. I can just see the coffee shop encounters with Pete, what a jerk! And agree that Mark really is an asshole! Hope you continue to write such great stories

I absolutely loved this. I liked seeing a more possessive side to Jack and it's easy to imagine him reacting jealously in certain situations.
I'm so happy i'm on holiday so i've got plenty of time to work my way through all of your stories!

I very much enjoyed this story. Especially the coffee shop scene with Sarah coming to Sam's rescue from Pete (had a real giggle over that one), and many other scenes. I read this story several weeks ago, and have been all but tearing my hair out since trying to remember which website it was on, because I wanted to read it again and couldn't recall the title, and just this afternoon thought about Heliopolis - and here it is! Should have saved it the first time so I could take my time in rereading it. You did a great job on this story. Thank you.
