I'm very surprised that no one has reviewed this story. I found it quite a good story, showing a very human side of Sam, during a most difficult time, especially having to have help from a man during "that time of the month". Not only that, but it being her CO. And he's so good and kind and patient with Sam. This really brings up a lot of her insecurities about herself. But I thought you did a really good job of writing the story. Don't quite know what else to say, except this is one of my favorite stories.
