Great story!
I can certainly understand Jack's hurt feelings at Sam's forgetfulness. She really should have had some way to remember to be a her house in time to greet him. However, I do think he kinda overreacted to her not being there; after all they'd been together for a year and he had to know how she felt about him. But I also don't understand why it took her two entire days to get to DC to apologize and make up with him. Good story though.
