Cute, but sooo hard to read.  Please do something about formatting next time.  Indenting paragraphs, skip lines  between paragraphs, skip lines when character speaking changes.  Oh, and lolly and gob smack are not words in American English.  Since Jack and Sam are Americans, their characters will sound more authentic  if you keep the speech American.  Thanks for a cute story.
